Using the app offline
Everything keeps working without signal; changes sync when you are back online.
Pat Pet Core is offline first. Your phone keeps a local copy of your households’ records, and anything you log while offline goes into an outbox that replays automatically when you reconnect.
- Offline changes retry in the background (after 2, 5, 15 and 60 seconds, then when you next open the app).
- If two people edit the same record while offline, the second one to sync is asked to review the other person’s version before overwriting it. Nothing is lost silently.
- Your subscription status is remembered for 24 hours offline, so a plan that expired while you had no signal takes effect when you reconnect.
Guest mode (no account) keeps data on the phone only. When you sign in later, you can import it as a private copy.
